About the Author
Like most others who flock to the Washington, D.C. for the summer, I am not originally from the metro area. I grew up in West Texas and currently reside in the suburbs of Dallas, TX. I currently attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and am a senior majoring in accountancy with a minor in political science. I am here in the District for the summer as an intern at the United States Department of Labor. Some interesting facts about me are that I love to meet new people and that I love to talk (which is probably why I decided to set up this blog in the first place…)
