NFC East, Best Division in NFC?

Published by mastapdaazn under Rants, Sports Edit This

Is it true? Because it’s sure looking like it! With all 4 teams at least 2-1 or better, the NFC East is looking like a great contender for a Super Bowl title.  This is especially true with the rest of the NFC not doing too hot…Most divisions have a couple teams here and there doing well, but others near the bottom of the NFL after Week 3.  I sure wouldn’t be surprised if it goes to an NFC East face off for the NFC title!

The Redskins and Eagles are 2-1, while the Giants and Cowboys are both 3-0.  Who will be #1 after Week 4? Well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see!  The Redskins and Cowboys face off next Sunday at Texas Stadium in Irving, TX.  Both teams won their games this past week and should have no problems competing next Sunday in another historical rivalry showdown!

The End of Summer…

Published by mastapdaazn under Rants Edit This

Who ever knew that summer would come to last until late September?  Well, apparently it does…Ah summer in D.C., how it reminds me of a giant sauna; the weather and all.  But despite the humidity, summer in our nation’s capital is amazingly awesome compared to any other city or time to visit Washington.  Think of the numerous holidays that occur during the summer months (including the most important one, Independence Day!), the festivals, the tourists, ahhh the memories…

Now, as all us summer interns return back to school and the daily routine of our normal lives, we take with us the memories of our summers in Washington.  Of all those great times we spent at work, at conferences, listening to speakers, sightseeing, exploring the city at night, partying, fighting the tourists, and overall just having a great time.  These will all be great memories indeed.  And yes, I’m sure work wasn’t all that fun, but it’s all the experiences we had that make up our overall experience that we are going to remember…

Goodbye D.C. for now, goodbye summer, and hello fall!  It’s Official!
